What is a mailing list?
A mailing list is a group of electronic mail addresses that can all be reached
by sending mail to a single address, the mailing list address. For example, when
you send mail to newsgroup@my-best-domain.com, everyone who belongs to the
mailing list will receive your message.
What is Majordomo?
Majordomo is an easy-to-use software tool, which automates the management of
mailing lists. You can join ("subscribe to") or cancel your participation
("unsubscribe from") a mailing list by using Majordomo commands and e-mail.
Majordomo can also provide basic information about a mailing list.
How do I create a mailing list?
Simply complete the following steps:
Mailing List Address: Type the mailing list name and choose a domain or a
subdomain from the drop-down menu. This will be the address of the mailing list
from where you will send your newsletters.
Set Administrator Password: Type your desired password, which will be needed to
access the mailing list control panel.
Administrator E-mail Address: Add a valid e-mail address, which will be used
when receiving information about the mailing list settings, new members, etc.
When you are ready, click on the Create Mailing List button.
