Choosing your domain name (web address)
You can search for a suitable domain name to register in various ways. You should take different approach depending on whether you need
the name for a new or already existing site, or you want to protect your trademark or brand, or to make a profit from selling the domain name later.
You can use alphanumeric characters and hyphens, but domain names cannot begin or end with a hyphen and spaces are not permitted.
Domain names are limited up to 67 characters, including the top level part of the domain name (* TLD).

What are TLD and SLD of a domain name?
TLD is the abbreviation for "top-level domain" and SLD is the abbreviation for "second-level domain". For example, in the domain name my-best-domain.com, the TLD is .com and the SLD is my-best-domain.

What TLD to choose for your domain name?
The TLDs available at promotional price with our hosting plans are .com .net .org .biz. .us .info. There are also TLDs that are offered to all our customers through the Web Hosting Account Control Panel. When choosing your TLD, you must consider that, especially for country domains, there are requirements and restrictions. Feature explanation:

Registrar-Lock – allows the domain owner to lock his/her domain name, in order to avoid unauthorized, or accidental changes to the domain name.

Transfer – means change of the domain registrar; usually 1 year is added to the registration upon successful completion of the transfer. Domain transfer fee is equal to the domain registration fee. In some caces, EPP authorization key, that must be provided by the current registrar is required.

Edit WHOIS – allows the publicly displayed WHOIS information of the domain name to be edited.

ID Protect – allows protection of the publicly available WHOIS information by replacing it with fictitious information.

Registration Period – various TLDs can be registered for different periods.

Choose a Hosting Plan
Review the page containing the information about our web hosting plans and features. Once you select a plan and place the order you will receive detailed information by email, including Control Panel address, login, password and further information.

Update Your Domain Name Records
After placing your order, you will need to modify the DNS of your domain name. Go to your registrar's web site and set our DNS settings for your domain name. You will find the DNS settings for your domain name inside our Control Panel. Once you login, click "Domains," and at the bottom of the tables, you will find the DNS settings for your domain name. Once you have saved your new DNS entry, it will take approximately 24 hours for the change to come into effect. Afterwards, your domain name will be 'pointing' to our servers, and you will be able to access your site with a web browser.

Upload Your Site
You can start working on your site and upload it immediately after you have placed the order. You will be provided with a temporary URL, which you can start working with. This way you are guaranteed that by switching the hosts your domain name will not have any downtime and all scripts and databases will be completely tested by the time the DNS update is completed. If you experience any problems transferring your site, please let us know and we will assist you.

Note: Please keep in mind that the necessary DNS changes are domain owners' responsibility and that we cannot perform the domain transfer automatically.
